Just wanted to note down some ways of scoring a lot of points easily, and hence leveling quickly

1: Pick your class and do class stuff

The first thing you will notice is if you pick a medic you won't acutally start with the medikit or res-pads. You have to level up a few times as a medic before you get them. The same goes for the other 3. arch types. So the first step is to stick to a class until you get their support abilites. Then use the class support abilites all the time. Throwing down medi kits and ammo crates can give you a lot of points. Ressing people also gives you as much points as shooting someone.

2: Be near your squad

This can be hard, but if you are a few who join a server I recommend joining the same squad and working together. Everything you do as your class you'll get a small bonus towards if it's your squad mates. Like healing a team mate is 10 points a tick, while healing a squad mate is 20 per tick. Whoever is the squad leader can also "spot" objectives. If your squad then attacks that point they will get extra points, and so will you as the squad leader.

3: Spotting

The default button for spotting is Q. It will put a red arrow above infantry, and similar stuff on vehicles. If someone kills the target while your spot is on them you'll get 20 points. The real good thing about it is that others can shoot after the marks without acutally seeing the target. On maps that are vehicle heavy, and even more so with the Attack Helicopters it's extremly helpful for those in vehiceles. Spotting infantry for the gunner in the Apache is just free kills as he can give them bursts from the machine cannon from faaaar away and still be highly effective.

4: Repair guy\Gunner

If you are lucky you'll get a good driver, but a good driver always wants a good gunner and repair guy. With a combo like that you can easily score a lot of points repairing the tank\heli when it takes damage. You'll also have a good gun too kill people with. In addition you get points for just being in a vehicle when the other kills something with the same one. A note here is that if you are repair guy in the same squad you get 30 points for each repair tick. So after just two repair ticks you'll have 60 points contra 50 for killing someone.

5: Pins

Pins are a extra bonus for doing stuff well. They each award you 100 to 200 points normally. They are like Repair for X amount, or Res X number of people. These are just extra points and quickly become a lot of points. They can be a bit hard to go after, but just as a reminder. Res people and you get the points for ressing those people and a bonus for ressing a huge number of people. There are also the high point badges for long time service. Like repair for X amount and get 5000 points. These are however just a 1 time reward but will boost your score up quickly.

Medics get access to all the LMGs so they acutally carry a lot of fire power.

Protip: Play Engineer until you unlock the Saiga.

You can use it on any class and a semi-automatic shotgun is epic win for nearly every kit on a lot of map stages. Razz

(It's great as Medic on close-combat maps.)

Learned to fly quite well now acutally so I need a gunner that isn't a retard soon Razz

As a gunner you can go for 2 perks; The zoom that makes your secondary a zoom. Makes it easier to kill of stuff from a distance. The second is a alt fire that gives you a dart. As boring as it sounds it works great if the pilot also has alt fire perk. That gives him a hellfire that will lock on any targets that has a tracer dart on it. It's powerful and will take out vehicles really fast.

As the pilot you really want to make sure your gunner can fire at as many targets as possible. There is a few ways of doing that and I've found that back up is one of the best ways. By tilting the tail of the chopper down you will back up. This will give the gunner more time to fire at any targets. It's also a handy manouver above enemy tanks. They will lose sight of you and expect you to come out on the other side. It will if done correctly give you a very good fireing angle. Just watch your alltitude since you'll drop a little.

Strafe to the sides to avoid incomming fire! Many chopper pilots fly in a straight line, that makes them easy targets for good players. Why tilting the chopper from side to side you make yourself quite hard to hit. By doing this you can stay in a area for a bit to allow your gunner to take stuff out.

The gunner should also make sure he takes out AA guns as fast as possible. Most AA guns are open so you don't actually have to destroy it. AA guns are nasty since they do a lot of damage on the chopper aswell as pushing it around so often you'll lose controll of the chopper and crash before it's acutally destroyed. Most AA guns can be avoided by flying low, but that gives you a bad firing angle on about everything.

And last, BOTH should be engineers and land a safe place to repair often.

I have played the engineer class and assault class most of all 4 classes, i think i haven't even unlocked the medkit as medic Razz

I usually start of a round as an engineer placing anti tank mines where most people drive their tanks, yields pretty hefty points sometimes Razz

Wtb more time from work Razz

SchLing as per normal Razz

I also recommend finding some servers you like and add them to your favorites.

Personally I've added TV2s servers. You can find them my searching for "TV2". 6 of their servers are Conquest and Rush All maps. Also fast and normally have a lot of people.

Possible fix for lagg in the game if you are suffering from it. It worked for me, the game runs alot smoother now.

I am using windows 7, so not sure it works for different OS's but it should.

1. Go too run in the startmenu.

2. Write regedit.

3. Locate HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE>Software>Microsoft>Windows NT>CurrentVersion>Multimedia>SystemProfile

4. In the right window you should see a "value"? called NetworkThrottlingIndex.

5. Rightclick and choose change or just dubbleclick.

6. Copy FFFFFFFF and paste it into the row thats called data.

7. Press okay and the value for NetworkThrottlingIndex should change into ``0xffffff (alot of numbers)´´

8. Close this window and reboot your computer.

9. Enjoy a more laggfree experience.

This is supposed too reduce the buffering of sound in the game which should reduce lagg.
